| Discovered a new noise this morning. Some kind of whine/whirring noise noticed when I started the car up this morning (might be tough to hear on the video). Reminds me of the sound you hear from a big ol' Buick sedan from the 80s/90s... at least that's what pops in my head: She sounds like an oldie... but not a goodie! Any ideas? I did have the water pump failure a couple months ago, which gushed coolant all over the engine bay... then cleaned that up when I did the repair shortly thereafter... and gave it a follow-up cleaning the other day, spraying the front of the engine with Greased Lightning degreaser (didn't let it sit too terribly long), as I was still getting a very smell of coolant when I pop the hood. I did start the engine before rinsing it off and let it run for a while. No noise at that time, but this is the first time starting the car since that latest cleaning. Possibly de-greased something I shouldn't have?? As always, any thoughts are much appreciated - thanks, guys!
