Message I guess it really depends on your specific application. I've used both an epoxy (JB Weld brand) and a UV light reactive liquid to bond plastic. The epoxy can be messy for small jobs but might be better to coat the underlying plastic where the crack is. I had an arm rest that the plastic posts the mounting screws went into broke off. I fill the area with the epoxy and pressed it back together. There was enough in there to hold the posts to the rest of the plastic (J-B Weld 50139 Plastic Bonder Body Panel Adhesive and Gap Filler Syringe - Black).
The problem with the Bondic (or other UV liquid) is that the UV light has to be able to reach the liquid to harden it. If it's between two large parts (like a butt joint) then it wont work since the light can't get to it. I've used it on smaller projects to fill cracks and connect small broken plastic parts. It holds up pretty good for the small jobs.

Conversation between my sister and my wife (shortly before we
got married):
Wife: "You know, sometimes I think he loves that Z more than he
does me."
Sister: "He probably does, and as long as you're okay with that,
everything will be fine."
