In the near future. I've had a soft intermittent miss at idle in one or two cylinders ever since I rebuilt the motor 80k ago. Spark is good, symptoms were the same with two different sets of injectors, ptu is ok, etc. I've also done the tbelt and the symptoms didn't change so I'm confident that the belt is done correctly. Given your experience, I'm starting to think that the issue is related to the heads being decked, as that will shift the timing a bit. Ive noticed in the past that one bank has a bit higher compression, which is consistent with your comments. Since my intake cam gears are noisy, I might grab a set if BDE adjustables, a degree wheel, and get the timing dialed in spot on to see if that solves the issue
