Message	through a lot of other critical interfaces besides the turbos before it gets to the filter. Bearings, cam journals, oil squirters, etc. Even junk in the oilpan will pass through the pump before being filtered out. Adding filters to the turbos is a really poor bandaid for poor engine cleanliness, as it'll only cover two of the many critical interfaces. If you're this concerned about junk in the engine, I'd be inclined to open up the engine and at least take a look around, if not flush things out.
