Message Purple 75W-90, it is rated for manual tranny with GL4 spec it is also rated for GL5 use. This might seem contradictory of what I said above about multi rated gear oils for the tranny as not good but not true for the RP. It is a non corrosive gear oil and safe for the Z32 tranny. Been using the RP in the manual tranny since 2003 with no issues. Before I used it I contacted Tech Engineer at RP and asked about the double GL rating issues for use in differentials vs use in manual trannys and if the RP is safe for specific GL4 use in a manual tranny, to which they agreed it was based on their testing. I tried other brand gear oils when ready for change after the tranny warranty replace in 1996 including Redline MT90, Amsoil then switched to RP and it gave the best shift response and no noise. I also did my own testing with copper strips in a jars using 3 different synthetic 75w-90 gear oils. After several months the RP had no corrosive effects on the copper but the other 2 did indicating their effect of their multi GL rating not good for GL4 spec tranny.

That's my experience others may be different?
