He doesn't have hot tanking/polishing capabilities so that's out of the question. I used a machine shop for all of this. I spent over £1000 in my machine shop prior to giving him the parts. The machine shop is top notch and I checked all their work with my own measuring tools. Balancing came it at £606. £390 for the crank, £86 for the pistons, and 129.60 for the rods. Which translates to $840 - more than the £500 he quoted me. Iv'e got the big and little end weights maybe I could ship my crank out to someone in the USA and give them weights to balance my new crank to it? This guy is refusing to do it for me and is my only local balancer.
