chassis has a lot to do with it, cabin layout and and driver position add to it and motor and transmission complete the package. It's a subjective thing. It's not as simple as saying 'it's a reskin of an old car chassis so it will feel identical'. 350Z with a turbo feels, sounds and drives a lot different than a stock 350Z. G35C feels and drives a lot different than a 350Z. Both are a lot different than a Z32. I would prefer a Z car that has an overall feel more like a Z32, I won't know that until I drive one. If I don't like the subjective feel, I won't buy one.
