E85 for sure, especially since you lucky folks in Calgary have access to it.

I wouldn't necessarily say it's a waste of money on CP / Carillo. If you are even remotely thinking of going to that power level on occasion, I would recommend going with upgraded rods / pistons. At a bare minimum, even Wiseco / Eagles should be fine.

I'd recommend building the block locally. If there's an issue, you can at least get it resolved with minimal cost versus having to ship a block down across a border and back.

I'll be in the process very soon of finding a machine shop to build my bottom end (rod knock / spun bearing). This time, I'm also installing a BDE Bedplate so the machining work is definitely more involved.
