Second,I've heard a lot about the pump gas up that way being mediocre, so if you're trying to do something on pump gas, that is a hurdle you'll need to overcome. Perhaps some of the other Canucks can assist in that department. In my opinion just rebuild the VG. If it has a spun rod bearing, the cylinders could be fine. Or make it easy and just pick up a stage 1 IPP short block/long block and toss on some upgraded turbos and enjoy it. 500RWHP is still quite mild on the VG platform given it's potential, it's your available fuel sources that I would be concerned with. Do you have access to E85?
