It looks like the Z35 will offer a good opportunity for tuning...as long as the Q60 3.0 twin turbo engine finds its way into the new Z (which it likely will). Direct injection, an air-to-water intercooler, and an electronically operated wastegate should provide a good platform to build on... especially since the 400z will be lighter. Just don't know how much "tweaking" will be tolerated under warranty... I wonder if an excellent tuning base will forgive the Z35 if it falters on its looks? The looks of the 350/370 Z never fully absolved the current Z's lack of forced induction, interior noise, and let us not forget the feathering tire issues of the first few years.
