The extra sound and little bit of vibration/resonance do so much for the experience as a whole, especially in a manual gearbox car. I always love to quote an older Mclaren MP4-12C documentary that said "50% of the sensation of speed, is sound" and it is really true. More modern cars that barely make a peep can make the run up to and over 100mph feel slow or not that exciting, with an exception given to Tesla! Though in this case, it isn't just about speed but overall street presence. The run up to even 35mph would feel that much more exciting with an exhaust. I would recommend a SpecialtyZ 2.5inch with Resonated X-pipe. Single tip might be a little quieter, but dual tip will look stock. Coming from SZ, I feel like it has the same integrity of a stock part. La-Z-Link You should get new Downpipes as well if you go ahead with an aftermarket exhaust. Give SZ a call!
