Message	make sure to consider the impact to the seals between the two caliper halves. Replacement seals aren't available for this interface, only piston seals and boots are available last time I checked. Some (including myself) have reassembled the two halves using teflon o-rings in a matching size. I'm sure others have just crossed their fingers and hoped that the internal seals weren't compromised. I'll refrain from making a recommendation either way :)
