Message	To get the door to stay locked when you exit the vehicle, after locking it from the inside, you have to hold the external handle up as you close the door. Then it will stay locked. I believe it was a "feature" to prevent you from locking your keys in the car. Problem is, after driving one for 14+ years, it's so automatic to hold the door handle up, that I've actually locked the keys inside on more than one occasion. Cheers, Jason
