I'm currently working with a TT.net member to test the 36 tooth wheel on his Elite and Motec systems. I've never been quite certain on the necessity of having a missing tooth/teeth crank wheel when a cam sync was being used.
I do understand the potential problem of the cam sync crossing over a crank tooth and that with the 36 tooth wheel the window for error is greater. But, are you saying that if a cam sync is used in conjunction with a missing tooth crank wheel that the location of the cam sync becomes irrelevant?
