However, what you are saying is running a 36 toothed wheel with a cam sync can lead to a situation where the ECU may interpret the cam sync at the leading edge or falling edge of the tooth inconsistently, correct? I don't imagine this is a problem with a 12 teeth wheel + cam sync. What (in your experience) have you found as the tradeoff between 36-1 versus 12 + cam sync?
