Considering 80% of the USA qualifies as "hot climate" for most if not all of spring/summer driving, it might be useful to see just how much faster a powdercoated plenum heatsoaks. If your TT is tuned properly it will pull timing as intake air temps rise beyond a certain threshold. So it is entirely possible that while my powdercoated plenum TT is pulling timing and slowing my roll, Mr. heat dispersion coating plenum is running full boost with no timing retard at all on the same roads in the same conditions. It is certainly worth looking into one of these dyno days if it hasnt already been documented.
