Message	once you get a bit of air flow over the plenum, it cools down fairly quickly. We have a local club member with a Z33 twin turbo that has thermal dispersion coating on the plenum and a vented hood. He can absolutely go beat on the car, pull in and the plenum is cool to the touch. Let the car sit and the plenum gets warmer.
