me I wouldn't believe it. I asked them what I can do, and she said smog it, when I explained the car broke down after I paid for last year's registration and I never got to smog it, I asked if my car stays broken in pieces, then what, and she said.. accrue late fees until you fix it and pass smog as it's now stuck in the waiting for smog state and there was nothing she could do. Wtf. I bet if I went back and talked to a manager maybe I could resolve it, but as I didn't want to waste more of time waiting again, I left and decided to push to get the car back together and pass last year's smog, so I can do my registration for this year. The whole thing is absurd. So now I'm paying late fees. California is beautiful but the government sucks
