Message	I knew they made pretty great equipment, but I was always more into Alpine (which was the head unit this one replaced). Pioneer had the best offering at the time of my research and so far the experience has been great. The fact that they keep releasing firmware updates for it tells me that the support for this product will last a few years. I agree with upgrading you factory sound system, even if sound quality is not high on your priority list. You are dealing with 20+ year old speakers, literally anything you put in its place will sound a lot better. That is what I did when I installed mine.
