I converted mine to R134 many years ago when I had engine work done and they punctured the condenser. Replaced the condenser, drier and pressure switch. Attached the conversion fittings and had a shop pull a vacuum. Added the R134 and been running it ever since. It's cool and I'm comfortable, so works for me. Drove it to work and home last Friday and it was in the 90's. Set temp on 72 (AUTO) and fan was on 3. Highway driving and all was good. Probably never going to be as cold as R12, but I'm happy with it.

Sister: "He probably does, and as long as you're okay with that, everything will be fine." |
