Message So I'm in the process of doing the 120k maintenance on my somewhat recently purchased 96TT using the ttzd guide.

Step 27 says that there is a spring and o-ring behind the intake cam sprocket covers for the VVT on 90-95 so imagine my surprise when I found these on my 96.

Does this mean the motor is a 90-95 or can the VVT be added? It has newer style injector plugs but they are clearly spliced in. Are there any other ways to identify the year of the motor?

The ECU is marked A18-D71 MN7 which according to the JWT pdf means it's a 96 ecu, what problems would this cause? Is there a way to identify the harness that is in the car?

Thanks in advance.
