first spending some time researching them. Both issues you mentioned a very common w/ Z32s. The synchro grind can sometimes be a symptom of incorrect clutch adjustment. Also some of us have minimized the grinding by changing trans fluid to Redline MT-90. Our transmissions are difficult to rebuild and most either get a new one, or find a serviceable used one. Not saying you don't need a new trans, but first try the easy fixes. Also eBay can be sketchy for parts. Sometimes there's good deals, but often its inferior quality or already broken. Use the resources here on TT.net. There's a host of good vendors for both new and used parts; and they'll back up the parts they sell.
