Message	I've got them in my car and they are quite literally on the floor, but no sliding action, you can install that on them to if you want but I opted not to. They are very difficult to install and remove with the seat attached to the bracket cause of how little room there is between the mount and the floor. But I am far from a tall guy, just an average 5'10".
