Just saying this is way way down the last of things to be concerned about unless you are putting some *serious* demands on your motor, as in professional-grade racing. No one can point to a single VG30DETT failure on a street car that is attributable to "only" running the factory recommendation. That goes for any passenger car. For 99.99% of us, any "premium" synthetic oil will be more than up to the task provided proper maintenance elsewhere. Frankly wasting any time or money on this topic is about as silly as worrying about the threadcount on the linen you wish to be mummified in.
