It should just slide on without rear bumper removal now. The slits on the side support the sides. I don't think there's any support needed over the mufflers. The brackets should bolt to support the center section. There should be predrilled tabs there and I believe it still mounts up to the rear crash bar.
Mine was of similar design and it just slide up on and on. I did have to drop the mufflers.
