Message	The W in the first part of the oil rating stands for Winter. The first number is going to be viscosity at cold temperatures. The second number is viscosity at hot/running temperature. So a 0w-50 is going flow extremely well at in cold/freezing temperatures, but provide very thick 50 weight protection at warm temperatures.
