I had 245's at whatever the appropriate sidewall height is on 17x9 up front and mine rubbed pretty heavily under hard cornering/compression...to include freeway cloverleaf ramps taken at mildly quick speeds...I ended up raising the front slightly and still had to remove the flat metal tab-like thing that is up around the 12 oclock position on the front wheel well lip. It was gouging the shit out of the side of the shoulder/corner tread blocks. I just see no tangible reason to go over 9" width wheels given the amount of finessing and back-and-forth tweaking required the moment you stray from stock ride height. 245 front 275 rear is easily done at conservative ride height range with appropriate offsets of course. The 245 seemed like it would be more "offset sensitive" than the 275 in the rear.
