Message	Anybody thinking about buying a T56, do your due diligence first. The term T56 is original trans only, I believe built by ZF [?]. However, the nomenclature is sometimes used generically to define the wider range of double overdrive boxes. Pretty certain Tremec builds them all now, or at least has proprietary manufacturing rights. After Tremec took over, there's the T56 magnum, TR6060, some applications have different tail shafts, etc. All have different dimensions and will use different shifter rods and shifter assemblies to properly locate them in a Z32. https://www.hotrod.com/articles/everything-you-need-to-know-about-selecting-a-t56-for-your-gm-project/ _________________________________________________
