They initially offered me $4.5K for the car after my $500 deductible. I fought that, explaining that it was a very clean enthusiasts car, with a new motor, and many fresh suspension components. Upgrades don't matter, but new parts do. I provided receipts for the motor, timing kit, suspension components, etc, that had recently been installed, and ended up keeping the car and getting a check for $6.8K. So they valued the car at about $8.5K, not too bad for a NA 2+2 with 150K miles on the clock.
