Ten years ago, I installed Sport 500's on an otherwise stock '95 TT (only the ECU was reprogrammed by JWT). At the time, I was told that they produced 40% more boost than the stock turbos and to not go over 10-11 psi without changing the injectors (which I did not). At 10psi the engine generated 289 wheel HP and 365 engine HP (corrected). They spool up as quickly as the stockers. This was all on 91 octane. My recommendation is: if the engine is out anyway, go ahead and change the injectors before you have the ECU modified. I can send you a copy of the dyno chart if you would like. However, I can't figure out how to attach it to this note.
