Have you ever done any tuning? Its really damn hard top hit every load cell in every table to tune them properly. Add to that you can not accurately find mbt if you are not knock limited. This may work on pump fuel where knock is detected via knock sensor before mbt can be reached. Otherwise, on race fuel or e85 you need to be able to measure peak torque. There is no way to do this on the road or track and at that point you're playing with fire. Go past mbt and an engine may only last a single pass down the track.
