condition and ownership. After a quarter century of ownership, most Z32s have fallen into the hands of kids with no money (and even less good taste); but some have been well maintained and preserved . As the former get ready for the scrap heap; the latter are seeing a fairly significant increase in pricing; which unfortunately, will not be shared by the beater class. As supplies dwindle, the pricing for well maintained, original or lightly modded examples will continue to rise. It is almost as though we are speaking about two completely different models of the same car. This is a fairly common phenomenon in the lifespan of all collector cars. The point of critical mass is reached when there are so few examples left, that parts cars come back into the market as project cars. We will probably never see that happen because of the high production volumes.
