Using Vibrant SS mufflers with dual round tips, 3" inlet. They also offer these mufflers in a 2.5" inlet as well. Vibrant 1040: 2.5" inlet Vibrant 1047" 3.0" inlet These mufflers in a completely open 3" system had a very rich, low frequency pitch to them that when under load would produce a late-30's, early 40's man tone/volume. Vibrant resonators, 1794, were added to the system afterwards which dropped the decibels a good bit over the entire RPM range, dampening even more of the high-frequencies in the exhaust note. This moved the exhaust more into the mid 40's, early 50's man style. They also offer resonators in 2.5" I/O as well. Look for the 1793 model. None of these parts will "bolt up" though. They will need to be welded into the existing system you have in place. Typical cost of having this done at a local muffler shop would be around $150 out the door.
