Message	I recently replaced mine with a Nissan Maxima alternator (new generic parts shop replacement). The 1990-96 J30 Maxima (with VG30E engine) has a 90A alternator with identical mounting brackets, plug, and 4 groove pulley. The only caveat is the pivot mounting holes (engine side) need to be drilled out to 10mm as they are 8mm on the Maxima. The adjustment bracket side needs to be drilled out just a little bit as it has a threaded 8mm hole on the Maxima while the Z32 is not threaded. While it's not necessarily the ideal option it does open up a few more sources for parts as there were a lot more Maxima's built than Z32's, as well as new aftermarket replacement options.
