Message Better sound blocking is going to be gained from using a mass loaded vinyl. CLD like dynamat and knoknoise is more for vibration. Closed cell foam will decouple things that vibrate together, like wiring, clips and the like.

If you wanted to go overkill, I'd do at least 25% floor coverage with cld, then go over that with a closed cell foam (dynaliner as example) and then cover that with MLV. A good way to combine steps 1 and two would be to get soundskins. They even have a lightweight version as well.
