Message	I had my z resprayed by maaco at the end of last year. I went with their top bc/cc. I did all the sanding & the little body work (could have done a little more for it to be completely smooth). I then wet sanded and buffed it after. I removed all the trim pieces I could as well as marker lights & signals. Taped everything but the windshield myself. It was right around 1000. It isn't a professional show quality paint job but it looks 100 times better & I'm definitely not ashamed of it. After installing new trim & buffing the jams & such it looks pretty good. I know you didn't mention anything about maaco I was just sharing my experience in the 1000 dollar area.
