Message	And actually winning a second in daily driver with my decidedly non-concours Zed, I checked out the serious category winners and they were certainly not inspected down to OEM FPRs... our cars are not judged to anything near that level. And given that installing an original black FPR and dampener would be silly and dangerous anyway, parts are usually superceded for a reason, if not cost, usually better design. If it makes you feel better, go buy a new fan from Nissan, but I wouldn't try to build a concours Zed as the show judges won't know...we're not as ridiculous as some of the car makes out there for painstaking originality.
