The moment of truth came today after finishing up a plenum pull / valve cover job that turned into new fuel rails / hoses / injector upgrade and replacing just about every hose I came across... throttle body bypass... ECU, etc. (And I only have a couple extra parts, which I'll address in another post. Lol.) Hooked up battery, turned key to "on" to pressurize fuel system and wait... no fuel smell. Good to go. Turn the key... cranked over for a few seconds and then voila! Fired up w/ no check engine lights. After a few mins she settled into a nice 1k, idle. (which I think is a little high, yes?) Spin around the block, and it feels like I'm getting my 13lbs from the upgrade. Now for the 120k service. :-) Enjoy the ride.
