Message	Nobody at Nissan worked there when these cars came out, and nobody at Nissan knows how to work on them now. 1 hr for diagnostic time seems reasonable, and will often be waived when the repair is performed. If you knew what the problem was, and you knew that they were wasting your time, why did you bother? Sounds like you learned a decent lesson. If you didn't know you'd fail for the defroster, that's fair. But maybe next time find a different inspection place that you can build a relationship with. Congrats on sorting the issue.
