Message	2011: stock cams & stock cam gears 2012: 400+ cams & stock cam gears 2013: 400+ cams & BDE 1st gen intake & Tomei exhaust gears 2011 (red) vs 2012 (blue): Torque is gone between 3000-4500 RPM. Got some top end gains, but without the adjustable gears, the cams could not be dialed in and it was a noticeable performance hit. Mixman told me... Greg told me... get the adjustable gears. So the next year... 2012 (blue) vs 2013 (green): Hooray... TQ is back! Top end minimal gains. The takeaway: - Stock cams and gears give good midrange TQ. - Upgraded cams need adjustable gears for gains. - Upgraded cams with stock gears = no bueno.
