| is that those upgrades were done WAY before billet Throttle Bodies, MS or ASH manifolds, etc.... The SGP 54mm ported throttle bodies and port matching of the intake certainly helped. If SGP had not done those and found gains then you would not see products like the 62mm billet throttle bodies and/or 2.5" intercooler piping. Same with the ported stock manifolds. This was done WAY before we had MS or ASH Manifolds. But guess what? They helped at the time and that is why we do have MS and ASH manifolds today. If it was a worthless upgrade then manufacturers would not have spent the time developing larger manifolds. Remember that SGP went out of business over 10 years ago and those modifications were done well before we had the custom made products that we have today.
