Message If hone line too close to horizontal rings run on them like a washboard, if too steep they cut the rings across, just right at about a total included angle of 45 degrees between up and down recommended for best pass of the rings on hone lines, they hold oil and better ring break in

What type tool did they use to do the cross hatch? Sunnen or flex hone or --------, machine mounted or hand drill?

My experience from engine building in race cars 1/4 mile and stock cars, race motorcycles and race outboards and from machine shops in the know.
