You could setup a gauge and watch the AFR that way. I use a standalone with live graphing abilities that can save data to a SD card, but its useful for more things than just engine data. The standalone also accesses other vehicle modules which can be very useful, I'm not aware of a wifi/bluetooth reader than can do what a standalone does.
