My car is currently at the body shop getting repainted, and there's some confusion about whether or not to install the OEM 3rd brake light panel (thin strip in black or dark red plastic, inset in aft face of hatch above tail lights) if installing a TwinZ rear spoiler. For those of you who have TwinZ rear spoilers, did you remove the OEM 3rd brake light panel, or leave it in place under the spoiler? If you left it in place, how did you make the connection to the LED 3rd brake light in the spoiler? If you removed it, how did you seal out the gap between the bottom of the spoiler and the hatch metal? How do you open the hatch without the hand-hold in the OEM 3rd brake light panel?
