fix the garage first. When the sun is covering the garage door; go inside the garage, close the door(s) and turn off the light(s). Look for any sunlight you can see, that is where the mice/rats come in. Put steel wool between the door track arms and the wall - mice won't chew on steel wool. If the concrete floor has the "V" under the door - fill that so that mice can't come in (or snakes) that way. If the bottom door panel seal is torn or missing - replace it. I walked the entire outside of the garage walls with a bore scope to find all possible entry holes. The are not going to live with them in my RDX or my 370Z (my 300 and 350 are gone but I still visit here). The Tundra sits outside, numerous rat problems (high desert in AZ). I assume your Z is not parked outside so I won't address that (besides I am leaving town soon)
