I have them on my car, which runs, drives, and idles just fine. Of course YMMV, especially if your driving style means that you coast down from speed in neutral rather than downshifting & engine braking. To the gentleman above who thinks BOVs contributed to washdown-related accelerated ring wear: consider how much fuel is being metered by the ECU on a closed throttle during shifting, and consider the magnitude of combustion pressure in the cylinders with the throttle closed.
