out the side of the oil pan causing a quarter sized hole and the only indication of the issue was the gargantuan smoke cloud that ensued when the oil hit the headers. The driver shut the engine down in time and the bearing didn't spin. They replaced the nut, welded the oil pan and were back the next weekend pounding on the same engine.
