My issue is BANNING PRODUCTION for something rather than simply restricting where and how it can be used based on sound judgement.We dont permit children to drink alcohol, yet we don't ban the production of alcohol. We did once and look how that turned out. Ironically enough, the political movement that subjected the country to the hell of out of control organized crime and mafia-based corruption in law enforcement and the judicial systems, and criminalized decent people for their leisure choices is the same "progressive" movement that is trying to impose its will on everyone via the trojan horse of "saving the planet" which needs no saving. I could very easily trivialize your stance as a "romanticism" for spotted owls or whatever the environmental alarmist rallying cry of the day is for a planet that doesnt need saving to begin with, never has, and never will.
