Message	I followed Bernie's write up when I did mine and I believe I follow your statements. What I did wonder when I was in the middle of re-assembling the lights was whether or not I should've added small washers (equal to the size of the material I removed) to bottom of the shield where it mounts with screws...but that would effectively move up the other side of each cut off shield I did not cut.
