Message	went to check a car from private owner- looked clean, drove fine. was about to make offer, but ny title states: "important- this vehicle was returned to the manufacturer or dealer because it did not conform to it's warranty". title is under bank's name, not guy i met. no leins on title. what does this mean? owner says previous guy couldn't make payments so bank took it. with a statement like this on the title, will i have issues getting it registered and or insured? stay away again? almost seems like this guy isn't the owner but not sure how'd he get this car. thanks.
